In September 2012 the congregations at Cornerstone Methodist Church, Coventry Central Hall and MacDonald Road Methodist Church took the brave step to merge and form a new city centre congregation. The merger was driven by a belief that we are called to do better for God in the city centre.
With a conviction that God deserves the best we can offer. We are looking to improving our worship of him and our outreach to his people, the people of the City of Coventry. Our home, for the present will be in the Central Hall building – although we know as The People of God we all always called to be on the move and are committed to being attentive to God.
These are exciting and scary times for the Methodist Church. We are convinced that God has not finished with us yet, so we constantly call upon his Holy Spirit to guide us. In doing so we hope to become better disciples of Jesus.
We are determined to offer a warm welcome once you arrive here – but before that we would want you to know that you are warmly invited to join us and are praying for you even now.
I look forward to greeting you, and pray that through gathering together you will find the love of God.
